Purpose
The purpose of this policy is for you to know in a clear and transparent manner what types of personal data we handle, how we process them and how your rights.

We take responsibility for the personal data processed by us only to be used for the intended purposes and protected against unauthorized access. All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with applicable personal data legislation (EU) 2016/279, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process your personal data when making inquiries, orders and performing the services we offer, when using this website and Clipsk's digital and other channels.

What is personal data and what is the processing of personal data?

Personal data is information about an identified or identifiable person. An identifiable person is one who can be identified directly or indirectly, via a name, social security number, location data, an IP address or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity in the natural person.

Processing of personal data is everything that happens with the personal data. Any action taken with personal data constitutes processing, whether or not it is carried out automatically, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing or modification, production, reading, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or other provision, adjustment or merging, limiting, deleting or destroying.

Categories of personal data we collect

Collection and processing of personal data is not a core business at Clipsk. We handle however, personal data in our internal administration and for marketing purposes.

Contact information: Clipsk stores contact information in the form of names, telephone numbers and e-mails.

The personal information you provide is data that you actively provide to us by filling out various types of forms or that are provided to us in another way directly from you.

On the website, we collect how visitors use the website, information about your browser settings and how your operating system uses the pages. This information is processed on the basis of a balance of interests and is used to develop the website's functions and content.

When you contact us via customer service functions, for example in connection with you asking a question in our chat, booking a demo or similar, your contact information and case information will be processed by us. The personal data will be processed by us only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing.

Personal data may also be processed to report adequate information to authorities needed to fulfill Clipsk's legal obligations. Clipsk also reserves the right to retain the customer's personal data after the agreement has expired in order to avoid repeated use of introductory, promotional and premium offers.

Clipsk has the right to store personal data in places that are outside the company's direct control, for example on servers or databases that are co-located web hosts. This is to be able to profile the Customer's graphic profile.

Data such as payment method, product data and any payment reference to external payment systems can still be saved anonymously for statistics and to be able to provide refunds for returns, guarantees or complaints.

Personal data handled in our internal administration and own channels

Social media

We are responsible for the content, including personal information, which is published in social media channels operated in Clipsk's own name. This means that we, in social media channels where we have the opportunity to control the content, are responsible for keeping regular monitoring of publications and moderating the content so that the channel does not contain, for example, offensive personal data. In addition to this, each platform's own privacy policy applies.

Agreement

We process personal data that appears in the agreements we sign. This can be, for example, agreements with customers, subcontractors, partners and employees. The information is typically about basic contact information that is necessary to fulfill the agreement.

Website

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to monitor visitors to the website. The tools help to get information about how visitors interact with the website. For this purpose, Google’s own privacy policy.

Cookies

Purpose of processing personal data

The personal information about you that is collected in connection with your use of Clipsk's services or in connection with inquiries, orders and applications will be processed by Clipsk, or our sub-assistants, for the following purposes:

  • In order for us to provide services that you or others ordered from us and to be able to administer our agreement with you;

  • In order for us to be able to communicate with you in contact via customer service, e-mail form and telephone;

  • Marketing and communications administration: including for marketing by mail or e-mail (which you can opt out of via a link in each mailing made);

Legal basis and legitimate interests for the processing of personal data

Clipsk always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable law. We process personal data when it is necessary to fulfill an agreement or respond to requests for customer service and when we have another legitimate interest in processing personal data. If Clipsk were to process your personal data for any purpose that requires your consent in accordance with applicable law, we will obtain your consent in advance, by you being allowed to actively click in a box.

Restrictions on the disclosure of personal data

Clipsk may engage external partners and suppliers to perform tasks on behalf of our Studios, e.g. to provide IT services, payment solutions or marketing. The performance of these services may mean that our partners, both within the EU / EEA and outside the EU / EEA, gain access to your personal data. Companies that handle personal data on our behalf always sign agreements with Clipsk to ensure a high level of protection for your personal data also with our partners.

We may disclose personal information to third parties, such as the police or another authority, if it concerns the investigation of a crime or if we are otherwise obliged to disclose such information on the basis of law or an official decision. We also reserve the right to disclose personal information to third parties to, for example, perform the service or to communicate with you as a customer about the service.

Clipsk will not disclose your personal information to any other extent than described above.

How do we protect your personal data?

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against e.g. loss, manipulation or unauthorized access and continuously adapts our routines.

Clipsk also ensures that personal data is handled via an encrypted http connection and that the information is backed up in a secure manner.

The right to information and the right to lodge complaints

You have the right to request information at any time (free of charge once a year) about what personal data we have stored about you. You also have the right to request the information about you to be deleted, supplemented, the processing of your personal data be limited to certain purposes and, for example, not used for direct advertising. However, we can not delete your information as there is a statutory requirement for storage such as accounting rules.

If your personal information changes, please inform us by sending us a message. We are not responsible for problems that arise as a result of Personal Information being old or incorrect if you have failed to inform us of the change.

Your request must be in writing and signed by hand and contain information about name, e-mail, telephone number and postal address. We need this to ensure that we disclose the information to the right person.

Your obligations

As a customer are responsible for the information provided to us being correct and up to date. Clipsk is not responsible for errors in the Service and any consequences of these errors if the errors originate from outdated customer information.

Your rights

The Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to:

  • Request information about what personal data we process about you

  • Get incorrect personal information corrected and in some cases ask to delete your personal information

  • Objection to the processing of certain personal data about you and request that the processing of your personal data be restricted

  • Have the personal data you have provided to us transferred to another personal data controller (right to data portability)

  • If the treatment is based on consent, withdraw this, and

  • If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you can make a report to the Privacy Protection Authority, which is the responsible supervisory authority.
